Steenberg (owned by Graham Beck) goes back to 1682 and is Constantia’s oldest wine farm - not exactly ‘New World’!

On the nose it is elegant with aromas of soft red fruits, vanilla and gentle spices. It has a very soft ‘mouthfeel’, refreshing acidity, integrated tannins, is full bodied but has a well balanced structure. Will pair well with rich dishes for eg. strong Mediterranean flavours, red meat dishes and medium cheeses. Should age well for five to seven years after bottling.

ABV 14.5%
