Quartet is Champagne Louis Roederer’s outpost in California’s cool climate Anderson Valley.

There are four distinct vineyards on the estate – hence the name Quartet – from which all the grapes are sourced.

From 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, it is made using the addition of oak-aged reserve wines to each year’s blend. The wines are then aged for a minimum of two years on the lees, the result of which is a crisp and elegant wine with complex pear, spice and & hazelnut flavours. It is fresh and lightly fruity with great finesse and depth of flavour.

Quartet was awarded a very impressive 95 points by Decanter Magazine and 17.5 by Jancis Robinson who said this: “With its classic brioche aromas and fine, fresh mousse, this consistently excellent performer is the closest I have tasted to the real deal. Beautifully harmonious, multi-layered and long”.

It has also won all sorts of awards including Gold Medal at the Champagne and Sparkling Wine World Championships 2019.
