Liam Steevenson MW (Master of Wine) is one of only about a dozen Masters of Wine who actually makes wine or at least assists in the winemaking process (most MW's are wine writers, wine critics or simply true wine experts who work in the wine trade).

Liam made this wine for a special client in the UK under the label "New Press" but because of trading issues surrounding Covid-19 the client was no longer able to take delivery of the wine. So Liam offered some of it to me and I gladly accepted because his other wines (Immortelle from Roussillon, Fincher & Co. Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from NZ to name a few) are delicious and really good value.

New Press Pinot Noir is a super light (only 12.5% ABV) 'lunchtime wine' that I would recommend serving at around 16C - pop it in the fridge for about 20 minutes before serving.

According to Liam it's a "bright, crunchy Pinot" that usually retails in the UK for £16.99. He gave me a special price, so I'm passing it on.... only £10 per bottle. Cheers!
