MOUNTADAM 550 SHIRAZ 2021

Mountadam, founded in 1972 by the late David Wynn of iconic Wynn's Coonawarra Estate, is the most elevated vineyard in South Australia at 550m and although it has changed hands several times is still highly regarded. On the nose: pepper, dark ripe plums with subtle spicy smokiness. On the palate:  cherry, dark chocolate with a nice touch of oaky vanilla, firm tannin structure and persistent length of flavour.
