The Domaine of Château de Chamirey, planted in the best terroirs of Mercurey, covers 95 acres of which 38 are located amongst the most renowned Premiers Crus of the appellation. Chateau de Chamirey has a silky texture, and is very fruity - typically cherry flavours.

A dense ruby colour; on the nose: intense blackcurrant and blueberry aromas as well as soft spices (cinnamon, nutmeg).

On the palate, again blackcurrant, blueberry and spices notes. Tannins are smooth and delicate.

The Mercurey Rouge 2013 will perfectly match with starters, cooked pork meat, white meat and soft cheese.

It can be served from now (2015) at 13-14° C or kept in cellar between 3 and 5 years
