Pretty intense garnet colour with purple tints. Crystal clear.

Complex and powerful nose with dark cherries notes, alcoholic fruits and spicy aromas with liquorice. On the palate the wine is very dense , tannins are soft and ripened.

Very long palate – a truly great wine. The Mercurey Premier Cru « Clos des Ruelles » 2015 will perfectly match with game birds, soft cheeses or goat cheeses. It can be served from now or cellared for another 3 or 4 years.
