Mâcon winemaking legends the Barraud family consistently turn out superb quality even in ‘difficult’ vintages such as 2021. The weather was not kind to winemakers, many of whom lost varying amounts of their crop due to frost and hail, nevertheless the better among them  managed to create some delicious wines such as this lightly oaked handmade Chardonnay.

The winery is located in the relatively high altitude hamlet of Vergisson where their organic vineyards (minimum 35 years old) have produced this mid-weight wine with aromas & flavours of lemons, which pairs nicely with salads, roasted chicken and other lightly flavoured dishes.
