JOURNEY WINES YARRA VALLEY CHARDONNAY 2017

Owner Damian North worked at two of Sydney’s top restaurants (Tetsuyas & The Pier) before studying oenology at Uni. Then asst. winemaker in the Yarra Valley, a stint in Oregon, then 5 years at prestigious Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River, he now makes his own range including this classy Chardonnay: mid-weight, ripe fruits and citrus balanced with gentle oak, nice long finish.
