Hambledon Classic Cuvée came top in a blind tasting competition organised by Noble Rot magazine in 2015 against some famous French Champagnes, notably Pol Roger Réserve Brut and Taittinger Réserve Brut. Not a surprise really - this is a very well made wine - mostly Chardonnay with a splash of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. Good balance, lovely flavour, really refreshing.
