GRAPPA DI RECIOTO DELLA VALPOLICELLATommasi
The Tommasi Recioto grappa is distilled using the traditional method.
It is made with the marcs of Recioto della Valpolicella (i.e. a dessert wine made from grapes that were dried on mats after picking) and is usually distilled in April.
The grape ‘pomace’ (ie. brandy) with it’s high alcohol content and lots of residual sugar give a particular harmony and roundness of flavour on the palate to the grappa.
