Réné Leclerc's wines are supple, fruity, with soft tannins and this Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru is a perfect expression of the terroir. A truly wonderful example of fine wine making from one of the best wine makers in Chambertin. Patience required though: best appreciated after 2021 (and will continue to be wonderful for the next 15 years).
