CORTIJO RIOJA TINTO 2019

Cortijo means ‘shack’ - a nod to the fact that fine wines often come from small  shacks rather than large estates. A pure, bright expression of estate grown Tempranillo from one of the more humble wineries in Rioja Alta. Red berry flavours and only a touch of oak to let them shine through. Juicy, smooth, medium bodied Rioja that pairs nicely with both red meat dishes and big-flavoured vegetarian flavours.
