CHATEAU DE CHAMIREY MERCUREY BLANC 2023 1ER CRU "LA MISSION"

For lovers of oaky buttery chardonnay! This ‘monopole’ Mercurey 1er Cru (the only one in the region) has a fairly complex palate with flavours of vanilla, citrus, and caramel with a slighly saline finish, but not overdone in any way – this is elegant, rich yet balanced Burgundy! Pairs well with shellfish, mushroom risotto or enjoy on it’s own. Don’t serve too chilled though – 12°C-14°C is about right. Enjoy now and until 2035.
