This Vermentino is made by the Mazzei family on the Maremma coast in Tuscany. Pleasant, dry, quite minerally, but unlike say an Albariño (also coastal) this isn’t very saline because although the vineyards are only 10kms from the coast, they are in the hills about 100m above sea level, so instead you get this aromatic, slightly floral flavour with a hint of peaches. Delicious aperitif.
