BARBERA D'ALBA PEIRAGAL 2016Marchesi di Barolo
Unlike Piedmont’s other famous grape (Nebbiolo), a Barbera is at it’s best between 2 – 5 years from harvest. Clean scents of blackcurrants, berries, toasted hazelnut and vanilla. Warm, lively, full-bodied and quite versatile with food: vegetable flan, pasta with rich sauces, roast meats, even stews as well as cheeses. Serve around 18 degrees C.
