Santiago Ijalba’s (hence the name ‘Sant-alba’) was established in 1998, in Gimileo, Rioja and is now run by his son Roberto. This barrel-fermented ‘rosado’ is made from Tempranillo grapes. The result is a dry, fruity, fresh & medium bodied wine with  slightly spicy red fruits, excellent acidity & structure with a long finish. All these qualities will improve with a period of bottle-ageing. Enjoy with rice dishes such as paella and risotto, with fresh pasta, pizzas or Indian or Asian dishes.
