MURATIE ANSELA VAN DE CAAB 2020

One of South Africa’s oldest wineries dating back to 1685, Muratie’s wines are named after some of the colourful characters who have been involved with the estate over the centuries. Located in the exquisite Knorhoek Valley north of Stellenbosch the estate is currently under the stewardship of Rijk Melck 

The Ansela van de Caab Bordeaux blend (59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Franc & 5% Petit Verdot) is rich and velvety with good tannic structure to ensure a long life, although it is also very drinkable now. Concentrated dark fruits and gentle spices lead to a lingering finish. Drink now to 2030.
