Pretty intense garnet colour with purple tints.
Complex and powerful nose with dark cherries notes, alcoholic fruits and spicy aromas with liquorice. On the palate the wine is very dense , tannins are soft and ripened.
Very long palate – a truly great wine. The Mercurey Premier Cru « Les Ruelles » will perfectly match with game birds, soft cheeses or goat cheeses. It can be served from now at 16-18° C or kept in cellar between 6 and 8 years.
