Steenberg was the Cape’s first farm, established in 1682. In 2005 it was bought by Graham Beck and if you ever go to Cape Town it is well worth a visit – 5 star luxury hotel, spa, restaurants and it’s own golf course!

This stunning MCC (Methode Cap Classique) is made from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. It has a wonderful complex flavour – red berries & citrus fruits yet also a savouriness to balance it out. Great structure, fine bubbles and a long satisfying finish. No wonder it was awarded 4.5 red stars in the Platters Guide (South Africa’s top wine guide) as well as IWSC Gold medal, 93 points by Tim Atkin and 92 points by Decanter Magazine
