ZISOLA 2021

The owners of Castello di Fonterutoli in Chianti, the Mazzei family, have been making renowned wines since the 14th century. Today, 3 generations work together running the Zisola estate just outside Noto in Sicily which they acquired in 2002. What a delicious Nero d'Avola - perfumes of forest fruits and notes of orange peel come through on the palate. Good depth combines with the trademark Mazzei smoothness and elegance and a judicious use of oak, giving a rounded, complex wine. Good now until 2028
