LUGANA DOC LE FORNACI 2023

Surely one of the best value white wines at GWC. Tommasi’s flagship white wine, this Lugana is made from 100% Trebbiano grapes (known as Verdicchio in the Marche region) from the prestigious San Marino Estate just south of Lake Garda near Verona in northern Italy. Very light, only 12.5%, and no use of oak results in a clean, crisp, refreshing flavour of light tropical fruits and spice. A lovely aperitif wine that also pairs really well with seafood and light appetisers.
