Owned by the Tommasi family, Poggio al Tufo is on the Maremma coast in Tuscany. This delightful Vermentino is made without oak for about 5 months and yet has quite an intense fruity bouquet and is medium bodied with a long finish. Makes a lovely aperitif and also goes well with fish and light starters. Resist the urge to serve straight out of the fridge – around 10C is ideal.
