When you’re dealing with top quality wine, nearly all producers are either certified organic or are at least working with organic principles.The large majority will not use any pesticides or herbicides in the vineyards, or chemicals in the winery other than minimal quantities of sulphur dioxide. The truth is, most would rather spend their valuable time focussing on the contents of the bottle than on additional paperwork required for certification.
Well over 50% of all the wine in the shop is organic, but only those producers who have received official certification have the Organic Wine logo on their label.
